THE TRAIL BENCHMARK- When we set out to design the all-new Stumpjumper, we pursued some hefty goals. It had to excel on any kind of trail, for every style of rider. To achieve that, we went after serious weight reduction without sacrificing durability, a stiff, responsive chassis that still rides light and lively, geometry that improves everyone's riding, and the best suspension kinematics we know how to design. Turns out, you can have your cake and eat it too with the new Stumpjumper. THE SWEETEST 130MM OF TRAVEL YOU'LL EVER RIDE- We massaged the kinematics of the Stumpjumper suspension to bring out the very best all-round performance possible in a 130mm package. Countless hours of suspension lab development and field testing created a refined mid-travel ripper that eats big terrain like a gravity fed beast, handles like a dream everywhere, and climbs like it has a motor. PROGRESSIVE GEOMETRY- The S-Sizing geometry of the new Stumpjumper hits the progressive sweet spot. It's long, low and slack, with a short offset fork and a steeper seat tube angle. These numbers combine to make your ride more stable, more carvealicious, more comfortable climbing, more better everywhere. With FlipChip adjustability you're able to further fine-tune your fit, ensuring that your new Stumpjumper performs flawlessly on whatever terrain you choose. RIDER-FIRST ENGINEERED™- Rider-First Engineered™ frames use a size-specific approach to ride characteristics that ensures benchmark handling and flawless performance, regardless of frame or rider size. Whether you're a jump-happy grom riding an S1, or a DH-fiend giant in need of the lengthy S6, you'll experience the same ride traits – rail-sharp cornering and balanced front and rear stiffness – at the lightest-possible weight, And by light, we mean real light: 2,250 grams (S-Works, S-3 size, with rear shock). Wide, alloy rims are designed for high-volume tubeless tires (up to 38mm), providing predictable handling and stability from asphalt to pavé. ADVANCED COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY - Liv's High-Performance Grade raw carbon material is used to produce this frameset in our own composite factory. Using state-of-the-art materials and manufacturing techniques, Liv's Advanced-Grade Composite frames are designed to offer lightweight and stiffness with optimal compliance. COMPACT ROAD DESIGN - When introduced by Giant in 1990s, Compact Road revolutionized the look and feel of high-performance road bikes forever. A downward sloping toptube (from the headtube to the seattube) creates smaller front and rear triangles for a lighter, stiffer bike. It also makes it easier for riders of all sizes to have a perfect fit. D-FUSE SEATPOST - The proprietary "D" shaped composite seatpost damps vibration, resulting in a smooth, compliant ride. OVERDRIVE - Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, this fork steerer tube technology uses oversized headset bearings (1 1/4" lower and 1 1/8" upper for road, 1 1/2" lower and 1 1/8" upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness. TUBELESS SYSTEM - Engineered with proprietary Dynamic Balanced Lacing technology, this tubeless-ready composite WheelSystem delivers superior efficiency, pinpoint control and comfort.

Stealthy and Productive Cables are fully guided from the rear LOCKR and from there it is easy to reach the headtube if you ever have to replace a cable outer. Second Skin Occam is ready for a tough life and the replaceable vinyl protection brings options as well as keeping the paintwork looking new for longer.

Easy Cable Routing Cables are fully guided from the rear to LOCKR and from there it is easy t headtube if you ever have to replace a cable outer.

Considering the bike as a package means working with component and wheel designers right from the start to optimize stiffness and weight. When we designed Orca, we started with a target rigidity to ensure that even the strongest climbers could be sure of efficient power transmission.
